Coronavirus & Euthanasia Updates

This is an unprecedented time which is forcing us to make heart-breaking, painful decisions.  Due to selfish and dishonest people not disclosing that they are positive for coronavirus or currently awaiting test results when coming in to veterinary hospitals, we are no long allowing family to be present during euthanasia.  Hospitals that experience these dishonest, selfish people are being shut down for 14 days by authorities.  This means that they cannot service the essential, life-saving needs of hundreds of pets in their communities due to the actions of one person.  We have to look out for the safety and needs of all our patients, all of our pets in the community, and our team.

We know that some people will disagree with this decision.  We strongly dislike it as well.  Unfortunately, we feel that we have no choice due to those people breaking quarantine, misleading or not disclosing their status, and being selfish.  We hope that we can reverse this policy as soon as possible and will be closely monitoring the situation until we can reverse this decision.

For those of you who wish to be with your pet, we do not blame you.  I believe everyone on our team would feel the same way.  We are providing contact information for several in-home euthanasia services that may be able to help.  These services are not affiliated with us in any way.  Please reach out to them for more information, availability, and pricing.
